"12 Concertos in Seven Parts" published by Charles Avison are arrangements from harpsichord sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti in "concerto grosso" style. It is interesting to observe how Avison transformed these solo harpsichord pieces into orchestral works for 7 string voices
